Ingredients

- Fresh mozzarella250 g
- Fresh basil15 g

Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut them into slices about 5 mm thick. Discard the stem end.

Slice the mozzarella into rounds of similar thickness to the tomatoes.
Tip: Fresh mozzarella slices best when cold straight from the fridge. A sharp knife prevents tearing.

On a serving plate, alternate tomato and mozzarella slices in a circle or row, overlapping slightly. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the slices.
